Health and Safety

American Red Cross first aid, CPR and AED programs are designed to give you the confidence to respond in an emergency situation with skills that can save a life.  Red Cross courses combine video, lectures, demonstrations, discussions and hands-on training.  Participant materials are easy to read and feature visuals to support instruction.

For nearly a century, the American Red Cross has prepared people to save lives through health and safety education and training. From first aid, CPR and bloodborne pathogens training to swimming and lifeguarding, HIV/AIDS education and Babysitter’s Training, American Red Cross Preparedness programs help people lead safer and healthier lives. The Red Cross constantly strives to respond to the preparedness concerns of Americans at home, in school and in the workplace.

Employers, did you know…In 1999 over 20 million individuals in the United States suffered a disabling injury in the workplace? Sadly, nearly 90,000 of these accidents were fatal.* That’s why it is so important that your employees have current and ongoing training in First Aid and CPR. All businesses need qualified personnel who know how to recognize and prevent potential injuries, but also know what to do when they occur.

The Red Cross teaches classes specifically suited for your type of business. We can set-up the proper class for you and your employees at your site and whatever times and dates are convenient.

Remember that employees trained to properly administer first aid, can reduce recovery time for the victim of an accident. Additionally, the knowledge and skills gained by taking a Red Cross workplace class quite possibly will mean the difference between temporary disability or lifelong disability for the victim.
